Online Community Unconference East: Almost There!

The OCU East is only two days away, and I am very excited. I’m very encouraged to see the level of positive response we’ve gotten, in spite of the negative economic conditions.

A (very) partial list of participants include: Google, Edelman, Ebay, Consumer Reports, Deutsche Telekom, iVillage, Time Inc, IBM and others. Add to that list the facilitation of Kaliya Hamlin, and we have all the ingredients for a very fun, informative and productive day.

I expect a range of topics covering community and social media strategy, but I am also anticipate two common threads running through most sessions: the articulating value in a challenging environment and how community and social media teams are navigating the rough water.
