Welcome! The Online Community Report is a web resource for online community professionals -- that is, anyone that works on issues of web interactivity and collaboration. The web is quickly becoming more participatory (as described by many terms -- "online collaboration", "social networking", "communities of practice", "web 2.0"). Professionals involved with this exciting evolution of the web, including community managers, business strategists, tools developers, and funders, will find resources of interest on this site.

The Online Community Report is produced by Forum One Communications, a web strategy and development group with particular interest in online community issues. We provide here the most interesting resources and ideas we find.

Between 1997 and 2004 Forum One produced a traditional online newsletter at this site. We have updated our format to tie with blogs, include information feeds from various sources, and to be more participatory. We hope these changes make the site even more useful than in years past.
